Instructional Technology Resource Center (ITRC)

Instructional Technology Resource Center

Staffed by professional staff as well as students, the ITRC provides a place to come with questions concerning technology. From setting up an initial web site, making videos and working with video projects for SMC-TV, or Faculty multimedia projects, to scanning and compressing images - we are available to help Saint Mary's students.

Our main goal is to help you over the learning curve associated with all of these new resources. We hope to provide more than quick fix-its or tech-support. We want to help you acquire the skills needed to fully utilize all that is available to you.

We offer workshops, one-on-one lessons, drop-in office hours, and support to individuals, as well as departments. Our top priority is to ensure that new technologies are useful to faculty and students. It is our goal to provide an educational experience to those who would like to take advantage of the technology that is currently available.

Students with experience in web site design, video and multimedia applications are invited to apply for a position in the Huisking Center as Student Computer Assistants. The position is an exciting, high paying, on-campus job helping students and faculty with instructional technology projects often involving web page design, video, and multimedia applications.

ITRC is part of Information Technology at Saint Mary's.
