The Catholic heritage of the founding Sisters of the Holy Cross, who are leaders in education throughout the world, will inspire you to discover how your success can make a difference in society. Our commitment to excellence in education acknowledges the contribution religion offers to your study and life goals. At Saint Mary's, moral and spiritual development form an integral part of each student's experience and you will have many opportunities to put your faith into action.
While roughly 85 percent of your classmates are Catholic, our heritage makes us open to people of all faiths. We believe that all faith traditions challenge us to address the larger issues and concerns of our global world. Saint Mary's is a place where you can answer this call concretely. We provide resources and opportunities for you to give service to the campus and local community, engage in your spiritual practices, as well as participate in on-going education in your faith.
At Saint Mary's you can join a faith-sharing group, become a Eucharistic minister, or visit retired Sisters of the Holy Cross. Campus Ministry and the Office of Civic and Social Engagement (OCSE) create a network for faith-based programs and service opportunities to support your faith traditions. This is part of the holistic education and experience you will receive at Saint Mary's.
