Women's Studies Minor

Explore across the boundaries within the humanities and social sciences with a minor in Women's Studies. Through the program's interdisciplinary approach to the study of women, gender, and sexuality, you will investigate different forms of power, inequality, and privilege. You will study the construction not only of gender, but of race, class, and sexuality with course offerings in over fifteen academic departments. The women's studies program nurtures the social awareness and responsibility of individuals, and prepares students for careers in human services, activism and advocacy, education, law and public policy, and business, among many others.
