Meet the Staff

Joy Usner

Assistant Director of Student Involvement

Joy is entering her third academic year at Saint Mary's College. She advises the Student Activities Board, the Class Boards for the Classes of 2012 and 2013, and Blue Mantle (Yearbook).   Joy also oversees the Dalloway's Coffee House and coordinates the Summer Orientation and Welcome Week programs.

Prior to Saint Mary’s, Joy served as the Student Activities Resource Coordinator at the University of Chicago and an Admissions Counselor at Lakeland College.
She has a Masters of Education from Loyola University Chicago focusing in Higher Education and Student Affairs and a Bachelors of Philosophy from Miami University.

Tena Johnson

Administrative Assistant of Student Involvement

Tena has been at Saint Mary’s College for 17 years.  Tena started her career in the Admission Office and moved over to the Office of Student Involvement in 2000.  Tena manages all budgets, administrative duties, and supervises the office student staff.

Tena’s experience at Saint Mary’s has helped to contribute to the success not only of the Office of Student Involvement, but the wonderful students she comes in contact with on a daily basis.
