Our Mission Statement:

The mission of the Office of Student Involvement at Saint Mary’s College is to engage and facilitate student learning and leadership development of our women through their involvement in student organizations, campus wide events, and leadership programs.  The Office of Student Involvement is committed to providing developmental and diverse co-curricular opportunities for all women at Saint Mary’s College that promote civic participation, foster leadership, and enhance the educational process.

Areas of responsibility for the office include: serving as a resource for student organizations and clubs, leadership development, campus programming, Approval of Campus Postings, Summer Orientation, and Welcome Week.

Welcome Week 2010

August 19-22, 2010

Welcome Week 2010 is a program designed for first year students to help in their transition to their new life at Saint Mary’s College.  This program will provide information, support and encouragement from current students and staff to enable a smooth and positive transition to the campus and community.

Activities Night

September 1, 2010

Activities Night is an event sponsored by the Office of Student Involvement and the Student Government Association (SGA) designed to welcome and introduce the campus community to a vibrant campus life at Saint Mary’s College.  Student organizations and clubs from Saint Mary’s College and the University of Notre Dame will be present for students interested in joining these organizations.  Community agencies from South Bend and Mishawaka will also be in attendance.
