As a freshman (2009): Started in 25 games (17 at pitcher, seven at 3B, and one at 2B)… MIAA Pitcher of the Week... Saint Mary's Athlete of the Week... led the team in wins (12), ERA (2.19), innings pitched (121.2), and strike outs (49)…threw a no-hitter against Goshen (Mar. 17)… threw shutouts against Fitchburg (Mar. 10), Bowdoin (Mar. 12), Goshen (Mar. 17), Franklin (Mar. 26), and Olivet (Apr. 1).
As a sophomore (2010): Started 39 games (21 on the mound and 18 at 2B)… finished the season with a .336 batting average, an OBP of .376, and a slugging percentage of .359… second on the team in assists with 101… recorded two RBIs in games against St. Lawrence (Mar. 8), Wooster (Mar. 10), Kalamazoo (Apr. 3), Albion (Apr. 9), and Hope (Apr. 21)… threw shutouts against Anna Maria (Mar. 9) and Calvin (Apr. 28).
