Saint Mary's College Dance Marathon 2011

Time: Noon to midnight

Place: Angela Athletic Facility

Description: The public is invited to attend this fundraiser at Saint Mary's College, which is led by students. It is 6th year for this annual event. Hundreds of students from Saint Mary's, the University of Notre Dame, and Holy Cross College will come to Angela Athletic Facility to remain on their feet for 12 hours to raise money and awareness for Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis. Throughout the event local Riley families will share their stories. There will also be plenty of entertainment, including bands and other performances, inflatables, food, and games.

Riley Hospital is part of the Children's Miracle Network, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing medical treatment for critically or chronically ill children, regardless of the family's ability to pay. In the past five years, the Saint Mary's College Dance Marathon has raised $300,000 for Riley Hospital, which services families from around the region, including the South Bend area. Saint Mary’s is among the approximately 100 colleges and universities that hold Dance Marathons to benefit Children’s Miracle Network hospitals.
