The Phonathon enables Saint Mary's to keep in touch with alumnae, parents, and friends of the College. We update them with the latest news from around campus while raising support for the College. This helps to increase not only our national ranking, but the ability to maintain and increase the Saint Mary's College experience for today and tomorrow.
The Phonathon employs approximately 30 Saint Mary's student callers throughout the year. By working at the Phonathon students earn money for college, gain resume quality experience, connect with the Saint Mary's community, and help their College in an unprecedented way.
The Phonathon is a division of Annual Fund Office. This program, along with Reunion Gift Campaign, Direct mail, E- Solicitations, and Student Campaigns, make up the Annual Fund. Dollars raised through Annual Fund are used to provide support to all areas of the College especially financial aid.
Each student caller is required to work a minimum of two calling shifts per week. The starting wage is $7.35 an hour with room for advancement.
