English Literature Minor
Enhance your knowledge and appreciation of the English language through a minor in English Literature. You will study major literary figures and works from pre-1700 British literature, and the 18th, 19th, 20th, and 21st centuries, and will be able to concentrate on topics such as Shakespeare, Greek literature, women authors, poetry, African-American literature, and literary theory and criticism, among many others. You will learn critical thinking and analysis skills that will not only allow you to appreciate great literary works, but also to succeed in a variety of professional fields upon graduation.
