Saint Mary's Intramurals

 

The Intramural Sports Program (IMs for short) offers leagues, tournaments and single day events in a variety of recreational arenas. Ability levels range from the “just out to meet new people and have fun” level to the “highly competitive former athletes.” All students registered at Saint Mary's College and all faculty/staff are eligible to compete in all the phases of the IM Program. Registration and entries will be designated as either a “Residence Hall Team” or and “Individual Entry Event”. Participants earn points for their Residence Hall (“Off Campus” constitutes a Hall as does the “Opus Apartments”) while competing for the All Sports Intramural Championship Trophy. Spring Intramural tournaments and one day events do not run as interhall competitions…gather your friends from any residence hall to join in the fun!

In each of the last three years over 700 Saint Mary's students have taken advantage of the intramural program on campus.

Registration Procedure

To register for IMs:

  • Pick up the IM Roster sheet at your Residence Hall front desk, the off campus lounge, or at the Angela Athletic Facility front desk; or just print one off by downloading the Online IM Registration Form (.doc).
  • Turn in your roster by 5 p.m. on the last day of registration to the Front Desk Worker in Angela Athletic Facility.
  • Have your Captain or Alternate Captain attend the Captain's Meeting to receive your team schedule as well as an overview of the rules.

Championship games held week of December 5
Games are played from 9:30-11pm in Angela
