SculptureAre you ready for a transforming experience?
Saint Mary’s College provides excellent academic programs in a close-knit, supportive environment. We have approximately 1,500 students from 47 states and seven countries. Our faculty are well-respected scholars in their fields and make teaching you their top priority.

Student-centered
Our small classes average only 16 students. Our student-to-faculty ratio is 11:1. This student-focused environment ensures you’ll enjoy personal attention and build lasting relationships with professors and students.

Nationally Recognized
We’re consistently ranked the top comprehensive college in the Midwest and have six nationally accredited programs.

Empowering
As a Catholic women’s college, we prepare women to become leaders in their fields of study as well as in their communities. We teach through conversation and participation. We give you a voice in the classroom and help you develop intellectually as well as personally.

Dynamic Community
You’ll enjoy strolling with students and professors across the beautiful Saint Mary’s campus, set on 75 acres along the Saint Joseph River. You’re guaranteed housing for three years in one of our five residence halls. Join 81 percent of our student body who choose to live on campus.

Making a Difference
We’re committed to promoting issues of social justice as we discuss ethics in the classroom and bring renowned speakers to campus. Our Center for Women’s InterCultural Leadership promotes international and intercultural learning. More than half of Saint Mary’s students volunteer in the local community.
