Over the past five years the Belles have been the toast of not only the our athletic programs, but have been among the best teams in the MIAA.

From 2002-2005 Saint Mary’s claimed four consecutive league titles and competed in three NCAA Division III Championships. During the 2003 championships, Stefanie Simmerman took home the individual title in becoming the College’s first National Champion in any sport at any level.

In the August 2006 issue of Golf Digest the Saint Mary’s program was rated the third best program in the entire nation when combining both academic and golf success beating out the likes of Duke, Penn and Harvard.

In his sixth season as the head coach, Mark Hamilton has coached four different players to the MIAA MVP while building this program to be among the best in the nation.
