We are called to serve one another, to act justly and to walk in solidarity with our neighbor. Campus Ministry provides an opportunity to walk with and learn from the people of Mexico, through its annual Mexico Pilgrimage . This is a wonderful opportunity to experience solidarity with the people through the mission of the Sisters of the Holy Cross in Monterrey, Mexico. Students return from the experience to reflect upon the call to social action in relationship to their major, career or vocation.
Campus Ministry collaborates with the Office for Civic and Social Engagement (OCSE) to provide students opportunities to volunteer in the community and participate in service learning experiences. OCSE also is a resource for many of the post graduate service opportunities.
For those students who are interested in serving in the Church or discerning a vocation in pastoral ministry, Campus Ministry, in collaboration with Religious Studies Department , offers a strong Lay Ministry Certification Program . Candidates engage in many different practices on campus and in the surrounding parish communities.
