Major Intention Form

Registration for the Fall semester 2009 will take place in March & April. Majors and major intents may register for major requirements in March; college-wide registration is scheduled for April 20-21. In order to register, you must meet with an academic advisor.

If you are considering a particular major or have decided on a major, indicate the major on this form.  We will send your name to the department chair who will assign you an advisor in the department.  The major advisor will help you select your courses for next year, allow you to register for major-level courses in the department and will give you an alternate pin for the college-wide registration.

 If you do not have a major intent or if you would like more information on the general education program, you should meet with your First Year Faculty Advisor.  This advisor will also have your alternate pin.  You may meet both with a major advisor and your First Year Faculty Advisor.

If you do not plan to register for the Fall semester, please mark the appropriate statement below. Students who are planning to study abroad next fall must receive advising before leaving.
