English Writing Minor


Enhance your knowledge and appreciation of the English language through a minor in English Writing. You will study practical and analytic methods of creative writing, non-fiction prose, expository writing, and classical rhetoric, and will be able to concentrate on topics such as journalism, fiction, playwriting, and magazine writing, among others. Course instruction and faculty mentoring will encourage your practical mastery of all types of writing in the English language, and prepare you to succeed in a variety of professional fields upon graduation.
