As a freshman (2009): Improved 5k time by more than 1:20 from first race (Northern Illinois Huskie Invitational) to second race (Calvin Invitational)... fastest 5k time of season was 21:23.8 at the Calvin Invitational... best 6k time of the year was 26:42 at the Manchester Invitational
