Hello Fellow Saint Mary’s Alumnae!
For those of you I may not know, my name is Jackie Bauters and I am the Saint Mary’s Cross-County coach. I graduated from SMC in 2004 and will be entering my fourth season as the Belles head coach this fall. In the past three years, your Belles have been making history and improving upon their past performances. One addition we wanted to make to our already fun filled season was hosting an alumnae event. It has been my wish to bring our alumnae back to campus to meet the team and share in the experience of a great race—for fun!
The 1st Annual Saint Mary’s Alumnae Race would act as our season opener, as well as a chance to try out our home course before hosting the MIAA Jamboree this fall. We are very excited to host both of these events, and would love to have you present to help kick off another successful season. Our hope is to bring Saint Mary’s women (runners and non-runners alike) from the past and present back on campus for a day full of fun, running, food and friends. The recipe for success for our team!

Please join us on Saturday, August 30th at 9:00am for the 1st Annual SMC XC Alumnae 5K Race. Race entry fee is $5 per person. Registration Form (PDF)
Friday, August 29th:
5:30-7:00 PM: Pasta Dinner with the Cross Country team in Angela Athletic Facility ($5 per person)
8:00 PM: Movie Showing
Saturday, August 30th:
8:00 AM: Packet Pick-up and Registration
9:00 Start of Race! Bagels, Bananas and water available at finish
12:00-2:00 PM: Cook out and Games
