| 2008 Commencement Speaker and Honorees |
Commencement will be held at noon on Saturday, May 17 in front of Le Mans Hall.
Susan P. Peters '75, Vice President of Executive Development and Chief Learning Officer for General Electric (GE), will deliver the 2008 commencement address at Saint Mary’s College, her alma mater.
Colleen Ryan, mother of three Saint Mary's alumnae, Molly '95, Maggie '97 and Kate '00, has served Saint Mary’s College in many leadership roles. She has been a philanthropic leader. She has held a seat on the Board of Trustees for ten years and the Parents Council for nine. She will receive an honorary doctor of humanities degree.
Sister Mary Kay Kinberger, MSC, will also receive an honorary degree. She will be recognized for a lifetime of service to the Marianites of Holy Cross community in New Orleans, the people of that great city, and those she taught and cared for during her nursing career.
