In addition to the eight varsity sports offered by the College, Saint Mary's also provides athletic opportunities through club sports. The club sports currently offered to Saint Mary's students are volleyball, lacrosse, baseball, cheerleading, and dance team. Saint Mary's club sports are also open to Notre Dame and Holy Cross students depending on the sport's specific rules and guidelines.
Club sports are jointly regulated and organized by the Saint Mary's Office of Student Involvement and Athletic Department. Each club has either a student president of the club or an advisor. Listed below are the respective leaders of each current club:

Lacrosse Club
The Irish-Belles club lacrosse team competes in the Women's Collegiate Lacrosse League. The team exists as a Saint Mary's club which admits Notre Dame students. The team organizes workouts in the fall and competes during the spring semester.
Volleyball Club
The Volleybelles club volleyball team competes against other colleges and universities through tournaments and other competitions in the Midwest. The season typically runs from November through March. An organizational meeting and tryouts are help in late October.
Baseball Club
The club baseball team competes in the fall and spring with teams from the Great Lakes Women's Baseball League. No prior playing experience is required.
Cheerleading and Dance Team
Tryouts for both groups are held in the fall semester. Both squads perform at home basketball contests as well as at other special events throughout the year.
