Go BELLES is an on-line system that enables jobs and internship seekers to view open positions; identify job search workshops, employer information sessions, and interviews conducted on the Saint Mary's campus; and "publish" (post) a résumé for viewing by prospective employers.
To access the basic features of the system, click on the "Go Belles" icon. For the username type in your complete Saint Mary's e-mail address (smco1111@saintmarys.edu). The password is "gobelles". Upon entering the system the first time, it will request basic information about contacting you and your career plans. Be sure to change your password.
To access the résumé referral components of the system requires that you visit the CCO, Spes Unica Room 114, and complete a release of information form (Consent to Disclose Information) granting us permission to reveal your résumé to prospective employers.
MonsterTrak and NaceLink are two competitive, yet corrollary, job vacancy and resume referral systems to Go BELLES. Each cater to the college student market and you will notice some overlap in positions as personnel recruiting representatives use various posting sources. Our recommendation is that you use all three to identify opportunities.
Saint Mary's students are only given ND interviews after all Notre Dame students have signed up. Once the ND sign-up deadline has passed, any remaining sessions would be available to Saint Mary's students. The Career Crossings Office will assist you with scheduling Notre Dame interview sessions.
To sign up for an interview session with a company that is interviewing on Notre Dame's campus, you must click on the "Request form for ND Interview" link in the navigation bar and fill out the special form. Once this form is received by the CCO staff of Saint Mary's College, a letter and your résumé will be sent to the prospective employer indicating your interest in meeting them. The employer reviews the request and determines how to place a SMC student on the Notre Dame interview schedule. The employer directly notifies the SMC student of a confirmed visit (date, time, and location).
All students visiting the University of Notre Dame for career exploration and job search activities should read and follow the Guidelines for Maintaining a Cooperative Relationship with Notre Dame available at the CCO in the Student Center.

To activate the publish feature on Go BELLES you must give the CCO permission to release your résumé to prospective employers.
“Uploading” a résumé (or other documents) creates a portfolio folder of job search correspondence which you use to respond to opportunities listed on the Go BELLES system.
“Publishing” a résumé is where you place your resume into an electronic “résumé book”, enabling select employers to independently review the document and contact you. Though the system allows you to upload many résumés, only one will be designated as your primary resume for publishing to various résumé books.
