Mexico Pilgrimage
Are you interested in meeting the Sisters of the Holy Cross in action? Consider applying for the Mexico Pilgrimage. This is an opportunity to enter into a journey to encounter the sacred in Mexico through the people, the landscape and to learn more about the role of the Catholic Church in the lives of the people of Mexico.

Applications are available in the spring of each semester. A six week preparation sessions is required and begins the following fall. This preparation addresses the purpose of the trip, the culture and the expectations of the pilgrimage in light of the social teachings of the Church.

Students (pilgrims) embark on the pilgrimage during fall break and return to continue a time of theological reflection and how the experience calls them to action.

"I never knew much about the Sisters of the Holy Cross so I learned more about their work in Mexico. Their courage and faith to enter unknown neighborhoods and work in solidarity with the people helped me to know God differently. I came home challenged by the questions how am I being asked to practice the social teachings of the Church in my country and how can I make a difference."
