As a professional program, it is imperative that we maintain a link between what is taught in the classroom and what happens in the business world. There are many ways to accomplish this goal including hiring faculty who have practiced in their field, maintaining contact with alumnae and employers and offering students internship opportunities. The department believes the Executive-in-Residence Program further serves to enhance the students' educational experience and the reputation of our program.
The Executive-in-Residence is a senior executive who is asked to fully participate in the life of the department. This participation includes but is not limited to attending classes, guest lecturing, meeting with students, attending faculty meetings and other departmental functions.
