Both on the court and off, the Saint Mary's basketball program is setting a standard that is not only getting recognized within the region but also on a national level.

In each of the past three seasons the Belles have had a player score their 1,000th career point. In addition to the scoring milestone, Bridget Lipke set the school record for assists in a career in helping Saint Mary’s to a school record 10 MIAA wins. Alison Kessler has received MIAA First-Team All-Conference honors in both the 2005-2006 and 2006-2007 season.

Last season the Belles posted a team GPA of 3.41 which ranked them 18th in the nation among over 400 schools that compete at the Division III level. That academic mark was the best among all MIAA basketball programs.

Under the guidance of second-year head coach Jenn Henley the Saint Mary’s basketball squad is looking towards reaching new heights.
