Athlete of the Week
Kelley Murphy
The senior forward on the basketball team was named the MIAA Player of the Week for her efforts last week. A native of Olathe, Kansas, she averaged 14.5 points and 10.5 rebounds as the Belles split a pair of conference games. She had nine points and grabbed a season-high 15 rebounds in leading Saint Mary's to a 59-48 win over Trine, then added 20 points, six rebounds and three steals in a 77-73 loss to Hope. It is the first time this season and fifth time of her career that she has been the MIAA Player of the Week.
Congratulations, Kelley!
Saint Mary's student-athletes are powerful in the classroom and on the playing fields. Our athletic program complements a student's overall educational experience. Many of our varsity student-athletes and teams continually earn Dean’s List, MIAA, and NCAA Division III Coaches’ Academic Honors each year as our coaches and staff mentor and lead them on the path to excellence.
In addition to our varsity athletic programs, students can also participate in club sports and intramurals. Excellent fitness equipment invites all students to have fun while they stay fit.
What it means to be Division III.
