Athlete of the Week
The sophomore on the basketball team has been named MIAA Women's Basketball Co-Player of the Week. The native of Plymouth, Indiana, came off the bench to score 36 points, grab 16 rebounds and add seven steals in leading the Belles to a pair of MIAA victories last week. She had a double-double with 18 points, 10 rebounds and five steals in a 64-62 victory over Adrian, then added 18 points, six rebounds and three assists in 24 minutes of play in a 91-52 win over Kalamazoo. Centa, who is being honored as MIAA Player of the Week for the first time in her career, made 16 of 27 shots (59 percent) from the field for the week.

ROYAL OAK, Mich. - The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association has named Saint Mary's forward Jessica Centa as one of its Co-Players of the Week in women's basketball for her performances during the week of February 1-6.
NOTRE DAME, Ind. - Every player on the Saint Mary's basketball team who got into the game scored as the Belles matched their season-high point total in a 91-52 win over Kalamazoo on Saturday afternoon.
