Doyle O'Brien
The sophomore on the golf team earned All-American honors with her top ten finish at the NCAA Division III Championships last week. A native of Madison, Wisconsin, she set school records for the lowest individual round (72) and lowest four-day score (307) at the NCAA Championships while finishing tied for sixth place individually. She also helped the team to the lowest four-day score by a Belles golf squad in the NCAA tournament.

Saint Mary's student-athletes are powerful in the classroom and on the playing fields. Our athletic program complements a student's overall educational experience. Many of our varsity student-athletes and teams continually earn Dean’s List, MIAA, and NCAA Division III Coaches’ Academic Honors each year as our coaches and staff mentor and lead them on the path to excellence.
In addition to our varsity athletic programs, students can also participate in club sports and intramurals. Excellent fitness equipment invites all students to have fun while they stay fit.

Softball - Gillis Named All-Region by NFCA
STARKVILLE, Miss. - Saint Mary's senior Angela Gillis was named to the All-Region Third Team in the Central Region by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association as announced by the NFCA on Monday.
Golf - O'Brien Earns All-American Honors as Belles Finish Fifteenth
ANGOLA, Ind. - Doyle O'Brien earned All-American accolades by virtue of her top-ten finish while the Saint Mary's golf team finished fifteenth at the 2012 NCAA Division III Championships.
Golf - O'Brien's Low Round Helps Belles to Best NCAA Score in Program History
ANGOLA, Ind. - Doyle O'Brien shot the low round of the day with an even-par 72 to help the Saint Mary's golf team to their best single-round score at the NCAA Championships in program history with a 320.
