Hurley and Gebert Named All-MIAA
KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Saint Mary's College sophomore Jillian Hurley and junior Camille Gebert were named to the 2009 All-MIAA Teams at the conclusion of this year's MIAA Tournament.
Hurley was honored with First Team All-MIAA accolades after earning All-MIAA Second Team honors a year ago. The sophomore went 4-4 at #1 singles in conference competitions this spring and 2-1 in the MIAA Tournament this past Thursday and Friday.
Gebert, meanwhile, was a Second Team All-MIAA selection this season after going 8-0 in conference dual matches this spring and 3-0 in the MIAA Tournament at #2 singles. It is the second All-MIAA honor for the junior as she was named to the First Team last spring.
The duo also paired up to compete at #1 doubles all season for the Belles as the team finished 11-10 in dual matches this year.
