GREENCASTLE, Ind. -- The Saint Mary's College volleyball team split a pair of matches in day one of the DePauw Tiger Invitational on Friday evening.
In the opening match of the weekend, the Belles took a 3-1 (25-14, 20-25, 25-21, 25-15) win over North Central College.
In the nightcap, the Belles dropped a 3-1 decision to the host Tigers by scores of 27-25, 21-25, 25-23, 25-21.
The Belles will play their third and final pool match tomorrow morning at 10:00 a.m. against Anderson. The time for the final match of the weekend will be determined by how the Belles fare in their morning match. Saint Mary's will either play at 2:00 or 3:30 p.m. to finish up the tournament.
