GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The Saint Mary's College soccer team saw their season come to an end in the first round of the MIAA Tournament on Saturday afternoon as the Belles lost 6-0 to Calvin College.
The Belles faced the top-seeded and #4 nationally ranked Calvin College Knights in the opening round of the tournament.
The Knights scored their first goal, which was also the game-winner, in the seventh minute of the contest. Calvin would add two more goals in the first half and three more goals in the second half to take the 6-0 win.
Keely Noonan had the lone shot on goal for the Belles on the day. Patty Duffy made four saves before giving way to Nicole Beier in goal, who added a save of her own.
The Belles conclude their season with a 2-13-1 overall record.
