Belles Finish Second at Second MIAA Jamboree

ANGOLA, Ind. -- Rosie O'Connor shot a 78 to tie for second to lead the Belles to a second place finish at the MIAA Jamboree hosted by Trine University at Zollner Golf Course.

Natalie Matuszak continued her strong freshman campaign by turning in a 79 to tie for fifth place overall.  Christine Brown was the third-best scoring golfer for the Belles on Saturday with an 84 (t-15). 

Perri Hamma and Jackie Dill both shot 88s (t-24) to round out the top five golfers for Saint Mary's. 

The Belles finished the round with a 329.  Olivet claimed their second top finish at the second of four MIAA Jamborees with a course record 310.  The Comets' Amber Conrad was the individual medalist with a 74.

The Belles will travel to Calvin College's Thornapple Pointe for the third round of MIAA Jamborees on Wednesday, September.  The round is scheduled to start at 1:00 p.m.
