Belles in Close Second at Trine Invitational

ANGOLA, Ind. - The #21 Saint Mary's College golf team is currently in second place at the Trine University Invitational with a 339 after day one of the two day tournament.

MIAA rival and #11 ranked Olivet College is in first with a 336.

Mary Kate Boyce led the Belles with an 82 on the day.  Close behind were Rosie O'Connor with an 83 and Meredith Fantom with an 84.

Emily Gore added a 90 for Saint Mary's.  Natalie Matuszak rounded out the scoring five for the Belles with a 92 in the first round.

The Belles will look to push past Olivet in day two at Zollner Golf Course on the campus of Trine University tomorrow.
