NOTRE DAME, IN – Katie Boocher and Rachel Zirille tossed a two-hitter and struck out four in helping pace Bethel to a 10-1 six inning victory over Saint Mary’s Monday evening at Ivy Field.
Saint Mary’s falls to 15-6 while Bethel goes to 25-5.
Bethel scored five of the game’s first six runs and Boocher and Zirille had more than enough support offensive support.
A McKenna Corrigan RBI single in the first inning and a Cathy Kurczak fifth single were the only two hits the Belles offense was able to tally.
