Swimming/Diving - #10 Calvin Posts Win Over Saint Mary’s, 131-99

January 25, 2008, GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Calvin posted wins in nine of the first 10 events in posting a 131-99 dual meet swimming/diving win over Saint Mary’s Friday evening.

Calvin, who’s ranked 10th in the country, improves its dual meet record to 4-1 overall and 3-0 during MIAA meets while Saint Mary’s falls to 5-5 and 2-3 respectively.

The Saint Mary’s 200 medley relay team of Maggie Williams, Casey Niezer, Caroline Arness and Lauren Hartman posted victory in the evening’s first event with a time of 1:55.03. However, the Knights responded by winning the next nine events to put the meet out of reach.

The Belles posted wins in four events.
