
October 13, 2007, N. MANCHESTER, IN – The Saint Mary’s cross country team finished third in the eight team field at the Manchester Invitational on Saturday afternoon with a score of 70 points. Megan Gray won the individual title at the race for the second straight year with a time of 18:26 over the 5K course.
Samantha Wieczorek finished in the top 10 overall with a tenth place finish, running the course in 19:39. Megan McClowry was the third finisher for the Belles, ending the race in 13th with a time of 19:57.
Caitlin Brodmerkel (20:35) and Olenka Bilyk (20:41) rounded out the scoring runners for the Belles, respectively finishing 23rd and 28th overall.
Cornerstone won the team event with a score of 59.
